Amid the Cold War era, combat tactics began evolving into more insidious techniques. Soviet leaders focused on cerebral battlefields accessed through psychic espionage and mind control. KGB agents sought super soldiers that could take down opponents without any physical contact. Rather than deploying tanks or armed troops, Russians unleashed microwave frequency weapons and clairvoyant spies. Although such feats sound like the work of science fiction, they were closely monitored by allied forces. One person of particular interest to the United States government was a woman who possessed unbelievable telekinesis abilities. Stranger still, her supernatural achievements are detailed in multiple federal reports.
The Soviet Psychokinetic
Nina Kulagina was born in St Petersburg during the mid-1920s. At just 14 years old she was recruited to fight against the Nazis in World War II. While enlisted with the Red Army, she suffered a serious injury that abruptly ended her military career. Years passed and the veteran eventually got married and had children. Yet the introverted domestic engineer would soon experience a series of bizarre events which would change her life forever. It all unfolded when she was particularly angry and noticed certain objects surrounding her moved significantly. The frightened mother believed it was poltergeist-type activity. However, as the months progressed she noticed a direct connection with dramatic moods and items drastically repelling from her. Intrigued, Nina decided to dedicate herself to honing these emerging psychokinetic skills.
Developing telekinesis proved to be quite a challenge. Initial attempts to harness the emotionally-driven energy at will were unsuccessful. Undeterred, she continued practicing and eventually found herself capable of moving small matchsticks through intentional thought. As Kulagina grew more confident she successfully progressed onto heavier items. Simultaneously other psychic talents emerged. She knew what was inside the pockets of strangers and could ‘see’ colors while blindfolded with touch alone. The rigorous cognitive training gradually started taking a toll on her health. While being hospitalized for exhaustion, medical staff observed Nina’s inexplicable capabilities firsthand. Suddenly the reserved homemaker was wanted by state authorities.
Documented Paranormal Phenomena
Kulagina had caught the attention of parapsychologists and doctors throughout Russia. Many were skeptical regarding the claims of her supposed otherworldly accolades. Forty scientists— including two Nobel Prize laureates, studied the enigmatic housewife and conducted various regimented experiments. To the experts’ astonishment, she repeatedly passed numerous tests under controlled conditions with a staggering rate of proficiency. After verifying the validity of her telekinetic competence, physicians performed examinations. Results revealed that Nina’s heartbeat, brain waves, and electromagnetic field were measurably altered during psychokinesis. Each session was carefully monitored by researchers. Here are some of the intriguing paranormal accomplishments they recorded and filmed:

- Cracking an egg then reassembling the shell fragments.

She lost weight, suffered from debilitating migraines, and succumbed to a heart attack. Family members suspected the fatal coronary episode was induced by her taxing psychic tasks. Some dismiss this case entirely and believe it was merely disinformation deliberately leaked by communist informants. However, the American government was genuinely concerned about her clairvoyance. Declassified documents from the US Army, CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, and Office of the Surgeon General outline Nina’s transcendental abilities. Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction.

I believe that everyone has the ability to learn these techniques but we are kept in a constant perceptual bubble that blocks these gifts. I also believe some have more of a “natural” ability. Definitely a fascinating topic. Reminds me of the show Stranger Things. Many of the masters in martial arts are able to harness chi energy and do amazing things like knock someone over without touching them. It’s possible Nina learned how to do this in her own way.

They say that art imitates life and I believe many of these movies/ TV shows are inspired by true knowledge kept from most of the population. It is highly likely that is what Nina was doing: simply harnessing and directing the energy around her.

I once read that Nina Kulagina said thunderstorms inhibited her ability to move things with her mind. Scientists believed it had something to do with the electrical charge. Makes you wonder what kind of effect smartphones and other devices are truly having on us in ways we don’t even consider. Perhaps that’s another reason for the technological push… to cut us off even more from our spiritual abilities. Great article as always! My grandmother could perform telekinesis. It wasn’t every time she tried but she could make lightbulbs go brighter and dimmer if she concentrated. She could also change the radio station without touching any dials or buttons. She was very psychic as well and would often have dreams that would come true, usually about some kind of family related catastrophe or death. I believe human beings are capable of so much more than we realize.

Ok so this is a bit out there but here me out. People who have taken DMT often report increases psychic abilities such as telepathy or psychokinesis. What if this substance opens doorways to untapped mental abilities because parts of the brain that are usually dormant are activated. DMT is a naturally occurring chemical. It’s released in our brains while we are sleeping/ dreaming. What if this woman just had higher levels of DMT in her brain and that’s what gave here these “powers”?

While I’m skeptical of anything the government releases, I do believe that some people do have genuine psychic abilities. The issue is there are so many frauds and people that do it for all the wrong reasons. Just look at all of these famous mediums who capitalize off of grieving family members and become millionaires. With Kulagina she was always very private about her telekinesis and only got thrown into the public eye after she was taken into observation. Another interesting thing to note is she actually won a defamation lawsuit against a newspaper that said she was lying.

I saw a show years ago about declassified paranormal KGB files. Kulagina was brought up and they showed some footage of her doing telekinesis. The Russians were up to some crazy paranormal shit back in the day. You should do an article on the Moscow Signal!

Trickery. All the films were done behind the Iron Curtain. Nothing came into to the Soviet Union and nothing left the Soviet communist country without authorization from brass communist. All the films were done in Leningrad which is named after Lenin.called Lenins city. The communist did this after 1917. Nina here was Ninel which means Lenin on the contrary. I really believe the elites are fully aware of these capabilities which is why they are so desperate to keep society distracted. Most people are too busy trying to survive to pay bills and eat that they have no time or energy to dedicate to pursing expanded levels of consciousness. That’s by grand design.

Tony. Thank you for sharing. Would anyone believe someone who claimed to have such abilities? We have seen what has happened to people with abilities, through the ages. Many of them burnt at the stake, or murdered by other means.
Also: would the mainstream- media report on such? Isn`t the controlling forces behind the “reality” we live in, highly interested in suppressing such information, – because they want to control the masses? If we live in a Matrix – a simulation of sorts – and there is a whole other world beyond that, – one could think that people with abilities are able to tap into that world. So can all humans, if they only become aware of this, as a possibility. 🙂
There is also another aspect to this; it seems like it helps to have an open mind, in order to allow such abilites to come forth in oneself. The more one allows to come out, the more abilities will follow. To be closed off, to not be open to the possibility that such abilities exist within us, seems in many cases to block people from accessing them.
